The legislation calls on the administration to refer to the killing of hundreds of thousands of Armenians during the closing years of the Ottoman Empire as "genocide." It is the latest in a decades-long effort to change official U.S. policy.
Turkish lawmakers are threatening to force an end to the U.S. right to use bases if the Armenian genocide bill in passed. Other possible responses being mulled include a withdrawal of support for International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) operations in Afghanistan.
My thoughts - That the Democrats want us out of the Middle East and will do anything to do it .

I think the Turkish government should pass a bill condemning the USA for the genocide perpetrated against the Natives of North America and their continued oppression.

They should be working on something more important like Social Security, Iraq, Taxes, Health care, and on and on. Who cares about this Armenian Genocide that happened about 50 years ago? Not me. Just typical politics wasting our tax dollars and their time. They are just waiting until the Thanksgiving break.
