Christians have murdered as much or more than Muslims over the course of history, so are hardly in a position to be self-righteous.

In order to find christian atrocities like you describe you must go back over 100 years and possibly 200 and current Christians will denounce those as misguided and distance themselves as quickly as possibly.
they only get to heaven through belief in their savior not through any acts.
To find these atrocities in Islam you have to go all the way back to right now.
They're slaughtering someone somewhere and blaming Allah while looking to hook up with 72 virgins.

Your question is not a true comparison Christians have gone to war and killed.
There has been killings in the name of God, such as the Crusades.(to repell invades in the Holy land) But I'm mot aware of any special rewards a Christian has been offered, for killing.
If you are taking from the teachings of the old testiment, and the conquring that God allowed the Isrealies to do to remove those who were vile in his sight, they do not apply, to Christians but through a shared history.
But what of a people who blow themselves up, and behead others who a bound and gagged. enough said

yeah and also in Islam, if a girl gets pregnant before marriage, her father has the right to kill her. In Saudi Arabia, the family actually stones the girl to death.
Your job as a soldier in a war is to kill. Why else would you be there? So you can negotiate with terrorists? If a U.S military kill innocent civilians they are punished by U.S code of military justice. Islam extremists kill civilians without consequences and its acutally their method of winning their war.
I know it was a different story back in the days of Crusades. But things are different now.
yeah and another example. Darfur Sudan. The Bagara (arab african) has been killing black africans since 2004. They have killed about 400,000. Islam is really stuck in 1500 AD.

Where are you getting your facts and what "Christians" and "Muslims" are you referring to? Christians do not kill for the sake of killing, IE they do sometimes live side by side of believed enemies, and as for a better place, they believe they will go there whether or not they die in battle or old age. Christians do not depend on killing an enemy to reach the "better" place.

Not true.
Muslims have systematically butchered whole populations in the name of the Prophet. They are still doing it today.
Christians have never, as a Christian movement, set out to annihilate an entire people.

The place where I worship every sunday has a congregation of 12,000 . . . it's a place through which we build hospice facilities in S. Africa, we mentor children from inner city schools, pray, and are taught not to judge others . . .that place and those Christians aren't even close to those that you wish to compare them to.
