7 1/2 of the falcons' pkay were running plays. 35% of their play were passingplays. They also haad four plays when they punted. how many total plays did the falcons have during the game?

I don't understand "7 1/2". What is half a play?

But in general:

let X be the number of plays
let R be the number of running plays
let P be the number of passing plays
let K be the number of kicking plays

We know:

X = R + P + K
P = (35/100)X
K = 4
and something about R

Combine all of these to get an equation for X and solve.
