Like others have said - don't bathe a rabbit unless you have to. Soak a facecloth or old towel and try to gently rub clean the affected areas. IF you feel tub bathing is absolutely neccessary (which it should never be) .... put a towel down on the tub floor so the bunny has something to grip... and put only enough water to wet his paws. You'll want to keep a hand on the bunny to help keep him calm... and wrap him up in a towel to snuggle him dry.

Bunnies love to run and play! Mine are obsessed with boxes, jumping on them, hiding in them... toilet paper and paper towel rolls are nice cheap toys. Some like to play with balls (check youtube for videos) but don't be surprised if yours might not.

If you're letting them run around in the house - watch for electrical wires and keep your houseplants 1-2ft off the ground!

Rabbits are very meticulous groomers. They normally do not need to be bathed. There are however a couple of exceptions.

1. Messy bottom. Occasionally, they will get a messy bottom. We would just wash the bottom by holding it under the faucet and then trying to groom it out with a comb.
2. Spraying Bucks. Some bucks are so interested in marking their territory, that they mark themselves with their own urine. We put them in the stainless steel sink, and you a sprayer to give them the bath, but we do not place them in a tub of water,

We give lots of toys to our rabbits for exercise. We generally don't use anything that we haven't purchased for another reason though. Here's a few things you can give:

* Macaroni & Cheese box filled with hay
* Papertowl tubes fileld with hay
* Toilet paper tube filled with hay
* Golf Balls
* Empty Soup Cans
* Old phone books
* Untreated wood
* Twigs
* Laundry detergent caps (cleaned)
* Hard plastic keys (for babies)
* Concrete form (tube types for poles)
* Wooden boxes for climbing
* Slinky
* Hay cubes
* Oats boxes with ends removed

Hope this helps!

Wash rabbit only if you have to. Then wash only soiled area - not the whole rabbit. Don't get water in ears or up nose.
Keep the cage clean to eliminate having to wash your rabbit.
Exercising:
Give him fun things to play with. A box he can jump on, a small, plastic slinky he can throw, a cardboard toilet paper roll stuffed with hay he can dig at.
Give him toys he can chew on so he doesn't chew on your furniture. This will not only keep him from your "things' but it will keep him stimulated and help with the natural growth of his teeth.
Get on the floor and play with him. This will help him bond with you.
the way to play with him is to Shake a rattle and then place it on the ground near your rabbit. He will probably pick it up and toss it.

You shouldn't have to wash your rabbit if you keep its cage clean, but clip its nails every once in a while. You can actually but a rabbit wheel for exercise.

Okay NO!

Rabbits can't have baths, they can get hypothermia really easy.

Rabbits cannot be let loose outside. They run away or get killed by other animals and cars. Don't think for a second that you will be able to catch it, you won't.

Research before you buy.

No and run inside.

If a rabbit gets dirty it is either sick or it's cage needs more frequent cleaning. They take pretty good care of themselves.
