Does anybody know a good way for a 13 year old in NYC to get into the music business?

i'm a 13 year old boy, and everybody I know tells me I'm a very talented singer. Anybody know a good way to get into the music business?

2. Set up a YouTube account
3. Perform
4. Enter Competitions
5. Get into the local musical theater
6. Set up a myspace page
7. Record some songs, put them up as MP3s
8. Look for music/arts summer camps, etc.
9. Volunteer at a radio station or record label
10. You're young and you've got time to develop your talents. You are lucky to be in NYC!
