I have a 16 yr old daughter a 2 year old son a 1 year old son and a 9 month old son.
I am 32 and I don't regret starting over at all. She is actually a great help and she can even enjoy her brothers more.
I say if you want it go for it!!!
Good luck!

Children are blessings. Don't worry about the age gap. If anything it's good, you won't have 2 kids in college at once. My mom had me almost 9 years after she had my brother. My dad and his sister are 9 years apart. I babysat for people who had a teenage son and 2 little kids. I know a lot of people who are a lot older or younger than their brothers or sisters or have kids far apart. It doesn't matter the gap as long as you have the time and money and energy to take care of another child. If I were you I'd keep trying for a girl. You need a "mommy's girl" to spoil with dolls and dresses. So, good luck and I hope you get your girl!

Only thing I regret is giving away all my baby stuff, got to start again, and this is def my last time.

I was 13when my mother had my brother who just turned 6. She dosen't regret having such a big age cap and either do I. Being older I was able to help out more with my brother and didn't go through that resentful period like closer aged children do. It was weird though when she told people they would say "Are you crazy, why would you start over?" My mom said simply that she missed having a baby and was lonely because I was pratically able to care for myself and spent more time out than at home. If you want another baby than have one I wouldn't hesitate or worry what other's think. Kids are a blast and your still very young. My mom was 19 with me and 32 with my brother. She is now 38 and considering 1 more baby....

i dont have kids (not old enough too have kids still in highschool i could have a kid but more than one would be difficult to have pulled off)
but i know people who have a big age gap between kids and they dont seem to regret it.
my girlfriends older sister is 21 and her youngest brother is gonna be 3 next month. her mom doesnt seem to regret having a big gap.
also a good friend of mine has a 20 yr old sister and an 11ish year old sister and her mom seems fine with an almsot 10 year age gap. (his mom is kinda hot too but thats beside the point)

We have an 8 yr old girl and just had our son 2 months ago. It's been fun going through it the 2nd time around, being "older and wiser". It took us so long to decide if we wanted another though, we were used to our girl being so independent. You won't regret having your 3rd child but in years to come you may regret it if you don't.

I don't think it matters. I have two siblings that are 8, and 9 years younger than me and we get a long great. I think it all depends on the parenting and making sure that you incorporate all your kids in everything that you do.
I personally have a 20 month old son and one on the way, so I guess I will see what a difference it will be to have them close together.

I unquestionably have 5 month, a million week outdated twin boys, and via the time my 2nd set are born on the tip of february 2010, they are going to be 11 and a a million/2 months outdated. My suited hollow could have been between 2-3 years, particularly than having 4 babies decrease than the age of one, besides the indisputable fact that it wasn't to be. not that i ideas very plenty, yet i did ideally choose a touch longer with the boys earlier they have been given new siblings.. i assume the main con may be the quantity of juggling, and plausible loss of time committed to each and each toddler.

It's nice that you want to have a daughter, but what if you get pregnant again & it's another boy? You have to think about that before you decide to try for another child. 30 is not too old to have another baby. It just depends on if you & your husband feel up to it.
My kids will be 5 yrs apart - my first at 23 & my second at 28. I don't see any problem with it, I was wanting & ready for another kid.
