"In the beginning..."
First think of a good Title for your book. Then you need to make specific chapters of your experiences. Example; Chapter 1 be about where you where born and some of those experiences. Chapter 2 may cover school and those things that happened. Chapter 3 may be about your friends and where they are today and the dreams you had together. Then Etc., Etc. (Pets, Love, Family members both living and when they died) How you felt and learned. Many areas of your life experiences and this can make for many chapters.
For each chapter you make a rough draft as you think of various things. Once you have it all written down you use the rough draft to organize the chapter into a systemic order.
You Introduction Chapter could be chapter 1 and explain what your intent is for the reader. The last Chapter sum it all up with maybe some views for your future.

Just for Trivia. Many girls have a rough draft they add too for many years of their life. It called a Diary. What good about this, many write everyday and have a good fresh memory of the experiences.

The best way to start this type of story is 'in media res' which means in the middle of things. Start at the climax or highest point and the work your way back to the beginning.

For example:

If I was writing a book about an upclose encounter with a bear... this is how in media res would look...

I was now about 5 feet from the ferocious beast. I could see its shiny teeth, sparkling in the moonlight. It lunged its 500 pound body towards my fragile figure...

This is in media res. After that segment you might want to follow it with something like this...

You're probably wondering how I ended up in the middle of the forrest with a bear the size of the empire state building standing in front of me. Well... it's a long story... so let me take you back to the beggining.

This beggining would hook a reader immediately! They would totally want to read your story after thta great beggining.

Hope this helped and good luck :]

Think about an important or interesting time of your life. Write down some things about it. If you can't remember details or the true ones aren't interesting enough, make up REALISTIC ones that go along with your story and every once in a while will make the reader chuckle.

But most of all, have fun with it!

At the beginning.

Kidding!

Are you writing about yours? Start with one that will catch the readers attention. Your best one. Then, work your way into the others. Make them as interesting as you can.

I did this with my book: Love And Tears in another way. Songs, that I wrote about myself and others and the reasons I wrote the song.

Love And Tears is a catchy title. Come up with a title that will make people want to read it.

I hope this helps.

You open up a Microsoft Word Document and start typing away. Of course, you can use pen and paper or a journal if you'd prefer.

But quit blocking and start in on it now. Go.
