I know there's "There goes my life" by Kenny Chesney. (That songs the only song that makes my dad cry. He was 16 and my mom was 15 when they had my oldest sister.) And there is "She didn't have time" by Terri Clark. I'm 16 and pregnant and I always have a song to represent what I'm going through at the time, but I'm having trouble trying to find one for this miracle.

Yes, the dad is in my life. He's here to help me and I have alot of support from both his and my family.

Not all teenage parents are bad parents. My parents were wonderful parents, they've been together for 20 years now. (My oldest sister's 20). Just because somebody's young doesn't mean they can't be a good mother/parent. And I'm not saying that the sex is a miracle, I'm saying the baby is a miracle.
Yeah, I'm a pregnant teen, but I'm not one of those low-life piece of **** white trash girls. I'm not a little **** that opens her legs to any guy that comes around. Pregnancy happens, you have sex, you're bound to get pregnant at some time, if you're capable of getting pregnant.

Sorry, I don't know any songs, I just went into your question to see what you meant by respent! I make typo's all the time myself! After reading your story, I just wanted to comment. Well done on your positive outlook. I was 17 when I had my first daughter and it was a massive life change, but the best thing in the world. She is almost 8 now and happy, and healthy. Don't let anyone bring you down. I let people make me doubt myself. If you want the baby and have support that is all that matters. I broke up with the father 6months after my baby was born, but that just happens sometimes. I now have a second daughter and have been with the father about 4 years, life is great and we all get along fantastically. Don't get me wrong, it is hard to begin with, take any help people give you, don't be stubborn. I am sure you will make a wonderful mother and as long as the baby is fed and clothed then how much money you have means nothing, how much you love your baby is all that is important. Wishing you well.

Shania Twain sings a song about having a baby at 15, I can't remember the name. It's a good song though.

Also, there is one by R.E.M. and it's called "It's the end of the world as we know it".... My friend played it at her wedding and everyone got a kick out of it for obvious reasons, but the next line is "and I feel fine!" Thought it was kinda cute.

Good luck! And congratulations on your bundle of joy!

I can't remember who sings the song but its country, its called EASY LOVING YOU. The mom was in high school and couldn't go to prom and how she took care of her daughter alone, its a great song, by the way I had my daughter when I was 19 and I wouldn't have changed it for the world, I love her more then life.

I really don't care for much of Madonna's songs; but give this a try!

MADONNA LYRICS

"Papa Don't Preach"

Papa I know you're going to be upset
'Cause I was always your little girl
But you should know by now
I'm not a baby

You always taught me right from wrong
I need your help, daddy please be strong
I may be young at heart
But I know what I'm saying

The one you warned me all about
The one you said I could do without
We're in an awful mess, and I don't mean maybe - please

[Chorus:]

Papa don't preach, I'm in trouble deep
Papa don't preach, I've been losing sleep
But I made up my mind, I'm keeping my baby, oh
I'm gonna keep my baby, mmm...

He says that he's going to marry me
We can raise a little family
Maybe we'll be all right
It's a sacrifice

But my friends keep telling me to give it up
Saying I'm too young, I ought to live it up
What I need right now is some good advice, please

[chorus]

Daddy, daddy if you could only see
Just how good he's been treating me
You'd give us your blessing right now
'Cause we are in love, we are in love, so please

[chorus]

Papa don't preach, I'm in trouble deep
Papa don't preach, I've been losing sleep
[repeat]

Oh, I'm gonna keep my baby, ooh
Don't you stop loving me daddy
I know, I'm keeping my baby

Try "You and Me against the World" by Helen Reddy. It was way back before your time but you'll like it. Good luck, kiddo!
