Dallas will be something of a betting enigma this weekend, a 5-0 team laying more than a field goal at home. But that's what happens when the Patriots come to town. After opening as five-point home underdogs, many are looking at the 'Boys as a tasty bet, especially since they've outscored opponents 80-42 in Dallas this year.
Impressive numbers to be sure. Tantalizing, even. But don't let 'em fool you into thinking Dallas is a good wager.
Why? Well, if you live by the Romo, you die by him too. While he's been lauded for his gunslinging ways, Romo is still rather careless with the football and his decision making leaves a lot to be desired. He's turned the ball over in all but one of Dallas' games this year and is tied for the second-most interceptions in the league with eight.
That's risky business against a Pats team that thrives on takeaways. In its 34-17 closer-than-it-looks victory over Cleveland, New England's defense had three interceptions and a fumble recovery - those takeaways created 21 points. The Pats are tied with Indianapolis for the league lead in turnover differential at plus-seven. The Patriots' defense has forced 11 turnovers (eight interceptions and three fumbles), and the offense has turned it over only four times (two interceptions, two fumbles).
Romo can ill afford to turn the ball over against New England, but his style leads me to believe he won't be able to avoid it. The Pats win games because they win the turnover battles, and this week should be no different.

New England is a 5 1/2 point favorite as indicated above. The Cowboys will probably be down by 10 and come back to make it look close and lose by 3. If Romo threw 5 interceptions against the pathetic Bills. I can only imagine he'll throw around 15 against the Patriots.

Pats will win by at least 15 points. Dallas over five games showed they're not a 5-0 team, especially during the last game against the bills. The cowboys fans will be disapointed after this game.

Cowboys.
While the Patriots clearly have better stats this year, they have pretty much played pansies. Still, the Cowboys aren't convincing the masses, probably because of performances like last Monday.
The Cowboys need to step it up for this game. If they make it close and are able to score against New England I think people will give them more respect.

Cowboys are the underdogs in a big way, not by the spread, I saw a spread at 3.5 this morning, but by just about everyone besides Dallas fans. I believe the Pats will win by 12Pts....and I am a Dallas fan.

first of all I'm tired of all these want to be clones talking and trying to lay down the smack on the boys for one bad game. Making stupid comments like the guys above me like "after what happened Monday night who do you think?" Guys!!! this is the NFL professionals who cant afford to care about what happened the previous week. You will never win in this league with that kind of attitude. My advice to you is quit smoking the tree's lay off the smack put you yak down and get real for once and stop dropping cheese ball dime answers like every other tom, dick and harry how cant tell the difference from a Oreo cookie and the back side of Michael Jackson's neck!!!! War the cowboys winning by 6!!!!

I would say the Cowboys because they barely beat the Bills, and the Pats beat the Bills by 20+ points

The dude before me is a genius!
Romo showed he can have his worst game of his career and still put his team in position to at least have a chance, all while the coach has the backup QB strapping on his hat. It shows what this team is made of. There is a no quit attitude about them, and I like thier chances against any team any givin Sunday.
Cowboys will ride that Monday Night Magic all the way to the desert! XLII

Cowboys are the dogs this game. I will be at the game and i will love seeing Brady light up that weak secondary. With all the Pats weapons, Roy Williams will have to cover, and we all know he can't cover anyone. Brady will have a career day.
