According to my own experience with many a gemini, I know for a fact that they do care, but may have a hard time showing it on a regular basis like many other signs, as they have trillion of other things on their minds.
However, if you tune enough to them you will see that they usually stand up to the occasion and will be there by your side when you really need them. They are never ones to cave in or run away from the 'scene' when and if you need them, even before then . . .
Subtle jestures of their caring will be 'felt' by you such as your KNOWING that you are being protected by them on a 'higher' level. Sometimes it takes a near tragic situation for them to show their feelings; but then that would be enough 'proof' which will carry you through for the rest of your relationship with them.

My Gemini boyfriend cares and shows it often, whether through kind words, compliments, gifts and occasionally long love letters. And yes, he's always there when I need him, or when he thinks I'm in need of him. He's very attentive, loves to touch, nurturing and caring, I love it because I'm a very affectionate Leo and bask in all the love, lol.

Gemini care, but we sometimes don't want to show it, or we can't....it's complicated...but if he seems like he cares, then he probably does.
