Go to http://www.flawlesscomplexion.com and they have tons of recipes to make homemade facial cleansers, scrubs, lip glosses, and masks. I just discovered this website the other day and it has a lot of good ideas!

if you just purchase Lanolin, it is super thick and goopy. it is the base ingredient to pretty much all lip glosses. If you crush up any other make up like eyeshadow or blush, and mix it in, you can create any sheer color you may want.

Also throughout history, pomegranate has been used as lip stain. you can begin by applying pomegranate juice, and covering it with lanolin if you are looking for color.

Don't use vaseline, it is not good for your lips.

Vitamin E oil also helps moisterize lips and it makes them look glossy. You can find vitamin e oil in drugstores.

Couldnt you just take some petrolium jelly and put a little water in it and (like someone else said) crush some blush or whatever to create a color... Idk, just using common sense...
