I'm going to segue a bit:
Three men - a man from the Middle East, a man from the United States, and a man from Australia Were all working together one day. They came across a lantern and a Genie popped out of it.
"I will give each on you one wish, which is three wishes in total", said the Genie.
The Man from the USA consulted with the Bush adminstration and said, "I want a wall around America so that no aliens or terrorists can get in or out, and to make our people safe they can't get out either. POOF! With the blink of the Genie's
eye, the wall was built.
The Man from the Middle East was amazed, so he said, "I want a wall around Afghanistan,
Palestine, Iraq and Iran so that no infidels, Americans or non-believers can come into
our precious land." POOF! Again, with the blink of the Genie's eye, there was a huge wall around those countries of the Middle East.
The Aussie said, "I am very curious. Please tell me more about these walls."
The Genie explains, "Well, They are about 500 feet high, 50 feet thick and completely surround the countries. Nothing can get in or out; it's
virtually impenetrable."
The Aussie sat down, cracked a beer, smiled, and said, "Now, fill them with Foster's Beer."

Although I would be tempted to wish for all beings to be be in peace and love, I strongly believe in free will.
So I'd wish for
:
1) For the Genie to be free, if s/he wants to be.
Who needs more wishes after that?
I'll just do or at least try to do what I want.
In fact I already am.
I'm going to a university studying to be an environmentalist,
I volunteer for non-profit organizations, I have a good relationship with my family and friends and best of all I have the love of my life, my daughter with me.
She just turned one. :)

First, I would wish to understand life, the universe, and everything in it along with the capability of handling the information.
My next two wishes are dependent on the first wish, and since I haven't got that wish, I can't tell you what my next 2 wishes are at this moment.

1. An end to all weapons more technologically advanced than the longbow
2. Somebody finding a non-polluting source of energy
3. Space travel faster than the speed of light in a spacecraft that didn't have to be the size of a small planetoid.
This would leave room for man to still challenge himself on this planet in the way that he has always done, without being able to be detached, we would stop killing this lovely planet that we live on, and we would have access to the stars with the potential to expand before we become so numerous that the yeast effect kicks in and we start to destroy ourselves through our sheer numbers

I would wish for world peace, and that no matter what you did for your career, as long as you worked, our pay would all be equal, and their was no suffering in the world. I beleive that we are all important in the work force, no matter what our job is. We should be able to do what we are gifted in and still live as good as the next guy!

1. The ability to teleport myself and any items I need. (this solves a multitude of problems - holidays/going to the loo at festivals/lugging band equipment around etc).
2. The ability to change the music that people play loudly in their cars (we all know why)
3. The ability to eat as many packets of Monster Munch as I want without getting fat and spotty.
