Older than 17, because anything less and you'll probably be seen as a sIut by a lot of people. Of course, if you wait till you're over 20, some people might ridicule you for it. Most people that lose their virginity often think it's going to be some kind of amazing event, but they're usually left saying, "That was it?" My advice you is to wait as long as possible, until you're absolutely sure that it's the right person, because you can only offer up something like that once... And to a lot of guys, that's a pretty valuable gift.

It isn't AGE, it's maturity. Are you emotionally stable? Do you know the other person EXTREMELY well. Do you realize that each person in a sexual relationship brings along every single person they've had sex with before plus all those other sexual partners? If your condom breaks or your pill doesn't have effect, are you prepared financially and emotionally to care for a baby? Are you stable enough to handle your emotions if the guy decides that you're not "the one"? Are you mature enough to talk to your parents about birth control? If you can't HONESTLY answer those questions appropriately, then you're not ready. Not even close to being ready.

Hey. I waited til I was 19, and I found that to be right. Some people say age isn't really relevant it's more about the person. But if it's the right person then they will understand why you choose to wait. One thing I've learned is sex isn't everything. It's something beautiful to share between two people but it shouldn't define you as a couple. It should be a luxury not a necessity.

The "perfect" age for someone to loose their virginty is not an age per say, it's a time.... Though, I'd say that you should wait till after your 18 either way, as a minimum...
what I mean as a time is that when you loose it, you should be with someone that you feel confortable with, and care for... and want to date if your not... preferably allready in a relationship for a couple months before you do this...
Do use a condom and get on birth control if your thinking abou this.
Don't feel like you sould have sex if you don't feel you are ready...

wait till your married dear, any sooner and you'll regret it if you and the guy break up.lol well thats wat my mom would say. I say 18 or 19. By then you should be mature enough to handle the pressures of sex and plus the boys should be mature then too, doing it with a boy age 15-17 you have to worry about him braggin to friends making you out to be a whore. I also say wen u think ure ready to have a kid, if ure gonna do baby making stuff be sure your're willing to take up the responsibility if a baby arises. IF not refrain from activities that can make u pregnant.:)

There is no perfect age but I personally think they should wait until college at the very least. There is just something disturbing about women having sex during high school.
You won't be ridiculed for being a virgin after 20 unless you associate with white trash.
