Alot of people will agree with me when I say that Ohio State should be #2 and LSU is the undisputed best team in the land. Cal is overrated, and will get smashed by USC.

What Im wondering is if you guys think LSU can still make it through the SEC unscathed, because they still have to play at Kentucky, Auburn at home, at Alabama, and Arkansas at home. All that plus they will have to play the SEC Championship game, which will probably be a rematch with Florida or South Carolina. If they can make it through that schedule unscathed, then they deserve to win the National Title.

Ohio State has to play a schedule a bit less menacing, but still rough: at Penn State, Illinois at home, Wisconsin at home, at Michigan, those games arent as tough as LSUs unbelieveable SEC schedule, but if the team holds its own and runs the table, they should have a shot at the Championship. I think OSU can beat LSU, what do you think.

What is your Natl Title picture and prediction?

Hard to say the way things have been going so far, so many upsets and in college football a lot of the time anything can happen.. When people talk bad about OSU (mostly Florida fans who are immature and last year is the only thing they will ever talk about) they fail to know a couple things, one, this is a new team and a new year. OSU has something they did not have last year. Thats a defense. If anybody has watched OSU games...you will know that the team may be more dangerous than people think... in the first half or so of the game they score quickly and after a comfortable lead. The replacement players come in and they basically idle to victory. I have been watching LSU games as well, they have not been doing so hot in the first half look at Tulane and Florida.. So to say LSU would definetly beat OSU... I just don't know...thats the great thing about college football, and people forget that......so to answer your question..I do think LSU will go all the way and I've got money on it being agaist OSU. Who will win? Well unlike last year OSU better come prepared and ready. I think it will actually be a great game. LSU better come prepared aswell, remember what happened to OSU last year and Miami in 02.

I am going to say no for many reasons.
First, the SEC is sooo tough that I'm not sure even LSU can avoid a loss, especially with the championship game. Florida pushed them to the last second, and there are many other good teams there. And even if they do go through this long stretch I don't know if they can survive another game. Look at OSU last year how everyone wanted to hand them the title and they lost. Could happen again if they get there.
Second, Ohio State is not going to e the Big Ten champion, they may end up begin a co-champ, but there will be two or even three teams with one loss. And they will be hurt by the lack of a championship, where they could make up a spot or two at the end (but that's another topic). But I still think they can get through riding their D.

Therefore, I would have to look at Oklahoma because they have by far the easiest schedule left and OSU in the National Title game. With an OU win.

To be totally honest, I wasn't that impressed. Going in I thought that LSU may be the best team in the nation. They played a school that was over-ranked because of the conference they were in, that they should have beat by three or four touchdowns if they really were the best in the country, and won by less than two. Florida didn't look too impressive today. I was thinking there was going to be a National Championship game with USC vs LSU/Florida, I thought it was a given.(Hoping it wasn't though) Maybe my Mountaineers really do have a shot at the NC this year.

Ohio State appears to have the easiest road to the BCS based on how the Big 10 has played this year.

LSU is probably the most deserving, but still has a lot of tough games left.

After watching the Cal/Tenn game, their defense appears so porous, it will be a challenge for them to get there.

Oklahoma still has a shot with a relatively easy schedule remaining.

If you at the teams with shots, it appears to me that an Ohio State/LSU is the most likely scenario at this time. LSU would be the likely winner.

LSU has a very difficult schedule to run the table. If LSU is undefeated, there is no doubt that they are the best team in the country. I think Cal has a chance to go undefeated because USC clearly isn't as good as they have been in years past. I would bet the final standing will look like:

#1 LSU
#2 Cal
#3 OSU

However, with the way this season is going, you never know what is going to happen.

psh.. no! osu will lose to michigan.. i know that sounds funny.. but im serious.. lsu will eventually lose.. and my pick for the championship is..
1. Cal
2. Mizzou (after they beat OU they will shoot up in the polls)
i think cal will win 42-31..

to the one below me...
im not trying to talk smack about osu.. its hard not to when your a michigan fan.. i respect them i just dont like them.. i think they have a shot but the BCS HATES the big ten... last year michigan shouldve played osu again for the championship.. but since they lost a game they "automaticly" have no shot to get into the championship game.. so you better hope that they dont screw up and lose to michigan or you guys will go from 3 to 20.. even though that should be true for usc.. those stupid trojans lost to standford!! and they are 10... at least michigan lost to a national champ.. app. state won the national championship in DIV 2.. fact is usc who barly beat washington and looked unimpressive against idaho should be at 18 to 25 for that loss that is just rediculous.. im telling you if usc was in the big ten then they would treat them a lot different...

You just think OSU got an A$$ whipping last year. It would be better for OSU to lose one in the regular season than to be embarrassed 2 years in a row in the NCS game.

If Cal beats USC then they will be number two. I would also look at the possiblity of an Cal vs. Ohio St national championship game. The way this year has been you just never know.

I like the Ohio State team and what they are all about. It's a classic program with a classy coach.

However I don't think the Buckeyes will make it to the game. Ron Zook's team will be ready to play them.

Good luck though and if you guys did make it to the NC I hope you can redeem yourselves with a win.
