How do you turn a source into a link?

When I read some of the answers I'll see webpages as links. How do you make them into one. Is there a certain way you type it or something. I'd really like to know!!!

You need to type in the complete address starting with http://. When the answer is then submitted, the link will appear.

Its really quite simple. Just put http://www.example.com
