Despite from other answers, I think this is very interesting. I have never thought of it that way. Well, there are many possibilities that we don't know of yet, many possibilities which we may think are impossible. I don't know, to answer your question, because anything is possible.

I have to apologize up front with you because this is going to sound insulting. But what you are trying to do is force square pegs into round holes. There is nothing to support those things you mentioned as being from a really super advanced civilization. There would be no reason to support the notion of coming back. And to come back for what? Crystal Skulls, what for? Pyramids?
Please meet me half way on your theory. Suppose there was a former civilization here on earth. Very advanced. They left. And they remain gone. We here are whats left of those that couldn't make the trip because of numerous reasons. Too ill for the trip, political prisoners left behind, those opposed to leaving the earth for sentimental reasons, Those that feared polluting the stars. OK? If there was an advanced civilization, then they perished, but not to the stars.

in my opinion there is no such thing as "time travel". Time is just things changing, and there is literally no way to go back in time. Unlike the Sprint commercial, there is no comprehendable way to actually "turn back time." As for the theory that humans were once a great race, perhaps even more powerful than we are now, i see no reason why not. Wars, climate change, famine, disease, and any number of things could have wiped out the human race and made us start aaaaaaaaaall over.

Theoretically which could nicely be achieveable...yet there could be understand way of understanding no matter if the form of situation could nicely be actual. notwithstanding, you may write some technology-fiction memories in holding with that concept. What if the continues to be of the oldest human civilization is waiting to be found lower than the Antarctic ice cap? The ice is numerous kilometers thick, so there is not any way of having the flexibility to inform what's there. to date, our wonderful satellites can't penetrate that a tactics below the ice to seek for clues.

anything is feasible however the ability to make crystal skulls does not also allow one to make an interstellar craft, that is stretching crafty technology a bit don't you think.
besides, mothmen are in the UFO's and the ones they found at roswell were burned beyond recognition.
the kecksburgh, pa UFO crash in 1965 and the Mothman sightings in point pleasant, wva in 1967 are proof of this.
the truth is out there
