Most of my ancestors in the 1800's were farmers or saw mill workers so I likely would have been on of those. Although there was a Lawyer back then so maybe I could have been one of those.

I'd probably would have been a wife and mother, had umpteen kids and that would have killed me. I'm 56 years old now and I'd either be crippled and old from scrubing clothes on a scrubboard and hoeing the garden to feed the husband and umpteen children. But there is another option. I'd be an excellent seamtress!

I'd be a pickpocket and then when I grew up I would graduate to a fence and occasional legbreaker. Eventually getting to the point where I would have lots of pickpockets working for me and they'd have to be orphans of course!!!

i would have been a house wife cooking on a old wood stove washing my clothes on a old rub board until my fingers bleed takeing care of my husband and about 10 kids
