That was the original idea. The frogs got wind of the plans, formed their Union. When they found out they would not get compensation for it they picketed the post office buildings. The police arrested them. The Loyal Order of Frogs bailed them out and when they went to court the post office dropped their idea. Anything else you want to know about it????

Hi:
No, it not made of Frog Mucus. What they use is gelatin for envelope paste, they use it for stamp also. Here's the recipe for it ; if you would like to make your own :
1 packet (1/4 oz) unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup boiling water
1 Tbs sugar
1/4 tsp food flavoring (Optional)
Carefully, Dissolve gelatin in bowl with boiling water, Adding sugar until dissolved. Add flavoring (vanilla, maple, lemon or a few drops of peppermint oil)
Similar to the stamp glue. Brush it onto the back of stickers or on envelope flaps. allow to dry. Lick it later when you are ready to seal or stick.

That's just plain silly. Of course it's not. There aren't that many frogs around with runny noses. This site will clear everything up for you.
