difficulty: purely Nos. 3 & 5 are everywhere close to ascertainable. Nos. 2 & 4 are gross exaggerations, the figures pulled out of skinny air, or someone's butt. Yours? No.a million flies spitefully contained in the face of settled reality. absolute self belief. Turkey is a member--alongside the Nazis--of the genocide membership. the sturdy component at the same time as the Nazis by no skill were given the prospect, Turkey has not finished something notorious considering. it truly is moral progression.

Some POINTS TO CONSIDER :-

1. The Administration lobbied extremely hard against the resolution. They changed the votes of many Republicans, including Fortuno, Inglis, Mack, Pence, and Ros-Lehtinen,

2. President Bush and Secretaries Rice and Gates spoke against the resolution at a press conference in the morning.

3. In 2000, a similar resolution passed 24-11.

4. In 2006, a similar resolution passed 40-7.

5. There were 14 Members who spoke against the resolution, and 17 who spoke in its favor. In past years, there would only be 2-3 Members speaking against the measure and 12-15 speaking for.

11 October 2007, Resource : Panarmenian

European Parliamentarians queried Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian whether Armenia would seek territorial and compensation claims along the lines of recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

While denying any territorial claims, Minister Oskanian pointed to the Treaty of Kars, which regulates the border between Turkey and Armenia. “Since this treaty has never been renounced or replaced after the fall of the Soviet regime and our independence, the borders are clearly demarcated according to it. Therefore, Turkey has no reason to be concerned,” Oskanian said.

He added that since Armenia does not have such pre-conditions to start governmental dialogue, Turkey also has to withdraw its pre-condition of Armenia renouncing ‘genocide claims’ to start dialogue between the two countries.

Oskanian added that Turkey’s other pre-condition on the Nagorno Karabakh issue is also unacceptable since this is a bilateral problem between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Consider the above FACTS above I wouldn’t be celebrating just yet.

First, it is not over yet. Second, it is all about Ottoman Empire, and has no affect on Turkey. Third, we still have the same view unlike some American politicians begging for votes. Fourth, so what happened, is there anything changed? Fifth, I should have brought many bananas as they are a few people do not know anything about politics.

Edit : Another five-year-old has just appeared. The process is not over yet. And it is not killing me as I have already said it has no affect on Turkey. By the way, how many times you need to edit your answer?

To Armenia forever : I have no fear. I said neither monkeys nor one of your names as I do not want to get a violation notice mail, but you know who I referred to and what I meant.
