Just bought a brand new TV and the sticker they put on the front of it wont come off. I grabbed the little tab and it just took the front of the sticker off. How can i get it off without scratching my tv?

GOO GONE/Mineral Spirits/Baby oil maybe...all safe to use. Vinegar is a miracle substance.

Orange based cleaners like "Orange Clean" have a mild solvent effect and will soften and loosen the glue without damaging most materials. If you are unsure, test the product on the back of the TV where you can't see it. Use a soft cloth and a gentle circular rubbing motion. This method will also take care of most price and UPC stickers on store items. DO NOT use Goo Gone as it is NOT safe for most plastics. If the sticker is on the glass tube, then it's OK but if it's on a LCD panel or the frame around the picture, using GOO GONE will look worst than the scratch you are worried about. Read the label of whatever it is you try!

WD-40 works as well as Goo-Gone, and is probably something that you already have in the house...if you do have some, and still have the little red straw that come with a can, direct the spray only on the area of the sticker residue, spray and wait a few minutes, should wipe right off...

Hold a paper towel with a few drops of white spirit to soften the sticker.

Use a cotton ball or Q-tip dab with a Goo Gone solution on it and rub gently and it should come right off, this works really well.
