At the number of girls and boys on here who say they are sexually active at ages like 13 and 14 and so forth? I am so sad and sick about the future of our society and country.... What can be done to stop these walking talking moronic hormones with over-active crothes from doing this to themselves? Is there any hope?

Well I'm thirteen and in 6th grade there was a rumor going aroudn that some girl had a sex party (in our grade) so I know what you mean. It is gross, there is another girl in my grade and I swear she has dated every (ugly) boy she can get her hands on. And I know she has had sex more than 5 times by now. At a party an 8th grader held last year people were giving head and someone lost their virginity. (People were even licking whipped cream off each other) I think for one its because their parents aren't around. I don't know about you but my mom would not be ok with me having a party where people are giving head in our living room. Another reason is because of our generation. You can find sex in alot of things. We really aren't afraid of the things you probably wouldn't dream about saying out loud when you were my age. Like cussing, I cuss all the time. You can hear people saying every swear word known to man at school. But back in the day you would never find this. Then again its not just kids my age that are acting gross or dress wrongly (I'm saying this because dressing like a skank can promote sex. Sounds like something stupid off of a commercial but hey its true sometimes) Like 6 year olds in bikinis. I think thats wrong and gross. My friend saw two 9 year olds the other day wearing mini-skirts, tank tops and lots of makeup. But I just wanna make it clear that just because some kids act this way doesn't mean all of us do. Just because some kids are influenced by the media doesn't mean all of us are. I just hate when a grown-up thinks that they know how the entire teen population acts because of some statistics.

I too, locate this stressful! on a similar time i'm extremely now no longer the professional, it would seem to me that no longer each and every canines that enters into guidance can be suited for the job required. This seems to me to be a case the placement come hell or intense water, the Cop is for particular and desperate, that the canines WILL positioned up. i might even have concerns how this canines might react in the "warmth of the 2d". If this variety of education has been deemed right, or readily been taken care of with a "seem the incorrect way" attitude, then i think of it unfair that this Officer take the "heat" on my very own. even nonetheless, i don't experience this Cop might desire to proceed with guidance canines, I do think of the punnishment is intense, whilst in comparison with the "Slap on the Hand", that the ordinary public recieve for some distance worse cruelty. It does make me ask your self how those residing below his Roof stay. optimistically, this might incident will make sparkling a piece that has little question created controversy. i might actually be severe approximately listening to what diverse ok-9 fashions have have been given to assert!

I know what you mean. I'm in the 9th Grade, but around 5th Grade in kids were already talking about sex and what they were going to do in MIDDLE SCHOOL! I am apalled. ANd you ask any of the kids in my class and most will say that by the time your in high school you are ready for sex. YOU are not ready for a STD, a baby, or sex. There are very few kids(like 20%) in my whole school are are sexually inactive. As for myself I am sexually inactive and I chose to stay that way. Usually when people hear you haven't had sex is because you have no one to give it to and no one wants to do "it" with you. But I chose to stay that way because you can have a boyfriend and not have sex. i have one. BUt anyway that's them.

As for is there any hope there will be once parents step up to the plate and stop letting other people teach their kids.

I'm saving my gift for marriage. Thumbs Down me if you want. That's what I just Believe.

There are too many adults nowadays who are poor examples, including parents.
Parents get divorced and then move in new boyfriends/girlfriends.... contradicting the whole "sex is what couples do when they marry" thing we tell our kids, others openly sleep together without any sort of commitment.

To kids, all they're doing is being like the grownups. That's what every kid wants.

Honey I agree 100% I think it is so sad. you wonder what the parents are thinking about , letting them go out at that age. don't they realize that there are so many pregnacy's resulting in going out at that age. I wish I new the answer I think there ought to be a law against letting teens date at that age. I know when you are that age you think you are an adult, but that is so wrong. They are to young to be bringing up babies at that age. and that is what the result usually end up to be. I am glad that you realize this and I think one day you will be a fine mother. God bless.

We need to get rid of the current television shows and most of the music from the last 5 years..

I think people have belittled sex and I think that's what it comes down to. I think kids believe it's no big deal and even if it feels like a big deal to them they don't show it because society says "It's fine."

Our grandparents and great grandparents were married at that age. Parents just need to teach their kids about that stuff.

Im sorry but it is over the top now thanks to the hippie and womens rights movements of the 60s. I remember the days when the air was clean and sex was dirty.

Hope is nothing without hopelessness. They are not opposite but very closely interwoven!
