its for a mock trail for my English class and the trail is on whether or not Prometheus did wrong in giving mankind fire ( Greek mythology story not relevant ) and my persona is a soldier in modern day today and i am against the gift of fire ( not because i want to but because i have to)
so how would i write my affidavit
how do i start it off???

Since you're on a trail and not a trial, I would suggest just stepping out.

An affidavit is a statement under oath. You usually number the paragraphs. The first paragraph states who you are, the second paragraph identifies what you are or what your connection is to the subject of the affidavit.

State your experiences in a paragraph or two, or however many it takes.

At the end, put:

Subscribed and sworn to under the pains and penalties of perjury this ____ day of October (or whatever month you are using) 2007 (or whatever year you are using.).

then a line for your signature, and sign it.
