All the time Anjel. When I wanted to get married at 16 for no other reason than love. The world laughed. When we decided to have our child after I found out I was pregnant, the world put me down but I just nodded and kept quiet. When the world told me I was pathetic for having a family and believing in it, I just shrugged my shoulders and kept working. My goal isn't for the world to stop fighting me, its for me to fight the world. I live for myself. When I found myself wanting another child, for love and happiness the world pushed me down. And I got right back up. If we all listened to everyones words and comments and insults and crude remarks suicides would be endless, children wouldn't thrive... and we as people... would lose everything important and unique about us. When the world looks down on me, I look right back at it. They are no better than me and I am no better than them....the only difference we have is that I don't look down on people for what they believe I am embrace them for what they believe.

I understand your dilema and it is not an easy question to answer. If you are completely devoted to your belief and you are not harming anyone or anything then you have the right to believe as you do. There is a fine line in standing up for your belief and stepping over the line, just remember that if you have the right to believe the way you do then others rights should be respected also. I have a strong belief in God, the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. a LOT of people ridicule me and say the tongues are from the devil. I listen to what they have to say, tell them that I hear them but that I believe because of my personal experiences and that until I know, really know in my heart differently there is nothing they can do or say to change me. I am who I am and I respect them and their beliefs but I desire and expect the same from them. If they agree then great, If not, then that is their choice and I will be sad when they walk away, if they do, but I am not changing for anyone or anything on this earth. Hope this helps. It is not easy taking a stand and sometimes it would be easier and a lot less painful to just give in but only you can decide what is right for you and what you are willing to give up for it.

Have never felt that I was fighting. Alone maybe. So I look for other people who think the way I do. Lately I've been running into a lot of them and life has gotten rich. I wish you well. Don't Ever give up.

Yeah, all the time... I believe the world is worth saving, and I have compassion for people, so obviously I have some problems fitting in here. Handle it? I don't, really. I grieve.

No, I don't fight the world over what I believe. I just keep going.
I am interested in learning about what others believe and how they interpret the rituals and "accessories" associated with their religons. Or those that have no religon or belief system and their way of looking at life and death.

We all hang on the lover's cross. Fighting to live is nature's way. Reality must be coped with. To get older and more graceful is the point. Accept the scars, the terrors, the gut wrenching experiences, the utter inanity of it. The beat goes on. The tougher you get---the higher of mind you become. Adversity will keep you engaged. It smacks of reality. I will defy all before I go. I will go. I will , however, go down in defiance of whatever there is. And peace of mind will be my refuge.

No! I am confident in what I believe. I don't fight other people's belief and I don't expect them to fight mine. If someone wants to try and argue the point with me they have one chance, two chances and the third time they need to leave. This goes for friends, visitors and family. Everyone knows exactly where I stand on my faith. I don't demand that they convert to my religion and I don't plan to switch religions.

Sometimes because I can't understand why others just don't "get it". My human nature tells me we should all just do our own thing...but unfortunately, my book doesn't say that, lol.
Which is why I started leaving everyone alone about it like 5 months ago.
