Hot water bottle is a must on the lower stomach and ibuprofen is the most effective painkiller I've found for belly pain, make sure you eat something before taking it as can cause problems on an empty stomach. Jo x

Don't lay on your stomach. It squashes your chest.

But when I have my period, it really doesn't matter unless I have cramps. If you do, try curling up with a hot water bottle on your stomach.
