Keep Lynch, McGahee, and Barber, depending on how many spots you have at each positions I'd say 3 RBs is probable plenty for you, so I'd get what I can for Jackson. If you need another running back get someone like Willie Parker, low risk high-reward. Or maybe a wideout with the same potential.

Yeah, trading Jackson might be good although with Gus Frerotte at the helm, they seemed to have more offense this past Sunday than they ever did all year. You would want to see who's available out there for trade and who is willing to trade. Personally, I don't like Gore. I actually would go with someone like Jamal Lewis. That depends on his MRI, but Lewis has done great thus far. I would also look at WR's. I haven't seen who you have, but you have only mention Andre Johnson. A decent WR for Jackson would be great as well. Jackson may come back and surprise though too. Tough decision for you, but with the RB's you've got...I don't think you're lacking there.

You need to tell us how many bench spots you have.
You look like you have a pretty good RB group.
I don't think anyone would trade you Gore for Jackson. At least Gore is playing. Jackson is probably still out for at least 2 weeks more. Plus a groin tear is pretty serious.
I'd sit on Jackson if you have space. If not, then I wouldn't trade him straight up, you won't get value. You'd have to package him in a trade with another guy as an intangible.

get rid of him, you have solid running backs. Steven Jackson has been sucking so trade him for a good receiver. Marshawn Lynch has been putting up good numbers and so has Marion Barber. You don't need Frank Gore, you already have good running backs

Put him on the block and see what offers you get.
Frank Gore is in about the same situation as Jackson - their offensive lines are too poor for them to have great years, even when Jackson makes it back.
Consider Najeh Davenport or Earnest Graham, neither spectacular but good potential for later this year. Maurice Jones-Drew seems to be hitting his stride...finally!

That commerce is sensible because of the fact which you will possibly get a sturdy#3 WR in Johnson and a competent keeper. Bush and MJD might supply you a sturdy #2 RB and flex participant. stunning directly to Jackson could desire to be risky because of the fact he did no longer have a competent year final year and it feels like he is going to hold out for a freelance. Bradshaw is yet another ? because of the fact he only violated his probation although he has no longer been suspended yet.

You won't be able to get anyone good enough to make it worth it. Hardly anybody would trade anyone better than Cedric Benson for Steven Jackson at this point. You'd be better off to keep him and hope he does well when he comes back from his injury.

How is he wasting a roster spot? Start who you have until he is healthy. You lose on trade value dumping him hurt if he comes back.

I would try to trade for a WR, because you have two decent running backs already, so maybe a defense or a WR.

My advice for now is to just hold him because ull never know if he is going to be good or not.
