haha that brings back college memories of me in my 56 Pontiac and my friends in their 70 el camino. The answer is simply DUH! yes. Ive done it with a factory 57 Chevy and 56 Pontiac and no you dont need a manual or sway bars. I have done it in a 57 Chevy with a automatic. The thing is you will learn how to drive old school! Practice is the best way to tell ya how to do it.
