Movie, of course, it would be Van Helsing
Dracula in that movie was by Richard Roxburgh, who was a very convincing and adequate Dracula

I feel that Dracula has been degraded by a lot of movies, but I think there is this one series called the Hellsing ultimate/ovas (NOT THE TV SHOW) that is way different. It's an anime (and if you're not into anime, that's alright with me), but it doesn't have all this mysterious romance crap in it. I mean come on! The real Dracula was an insanely cruel guy, not some playboy! And yeah, he was kinda sexual in Bram Stoker's book, but the movies I'm talking about make it a lot worse. This is a good series if you're sick of all the vampire romance mush.

It would have to be Max Schrek from the Classic F. W. Murnow silent film, Nosferatu. There are legends, myths even, which state that Schrek was a vampire himself. He only appeared in character while the movie was being filmed. This was even addressed in the movie "Shadows of the Vampire," which came out in 2000. Gary Oldman is a very close second for his role in the movie, "Dracula." Third, it's a tie between Louis and Lestat of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.

Christpher Lee......Dracula Has Risen From the Grave.....starts out with the black carriage being pulled at mach speed by two coal black stallions with plumes on their heads and you can see Dracula's clock blown in the wind as they are rushing through a forest area.......He could have such a stare and gaunt look.....those eyes and a piercing look, then he would bare his fangs and you'd get chills down your spine......he made several of these and the doode was good. He died good too......so surprised any mortal could after all his years of being alive bring him to his demise......Spooky!

Bram Stoker's Dracula, with Gary Oldman. It didn't have any typical horror movie moments. They played on Dracula's emotions and the connection he had with his lady.

Does it have to be Dracula or can it be any vampire?
I'd take on Brad Pitt (Louis - Interview With A Vampire) any day!
Because he was beautiful and because he felt so much and because he was so loyal to Claudia (capable of great love).

Interview with a Vampire. Very well done, story special effects. Plus all the homoerotic overtones sealed the deal.
