i don't know what is up with the censorship
maby it's like the way they keep control
if everyone could say what they wanted
things would be way different
if kids could have freedom in school
like so many times i've wanted to write about stuff that would never good grades
even though i know i'm good enough to get a's on my writting things
but it's almost seems like i'm selling myself short to do that
and just play that role
thats why i think school is useless in a lot of ways
because people who just do what teachers tell them have a good chance of getting better marks than the people who challenge them
but if you look at history
the people who have made all the progress in world
are people who challenged stuff
those kind of people are always getting it hard from the man
malcom x
or even john lennon got it bad
or nelson mandella
it looks like they are trying to keep and original thinkers from getting their idea's heard
if you get a good teacher it can change your life
cuz they'll let you away with it
but don't band against those students who challenge things
if i could give any advice
question things
cuz how they get changed
but be warned
when you do question things
they're gonna try and beat you down

There's nothing correct about political "correctness".
It's liberals trying to force their form of CENSORSHIP down everyone's throats.
(this is why I'm a •MODERATE•)
I'm my own person & pride myself on not being PC.
Once you go PC, you've given up having your own opinions & now only say what a good lil' zombie is told to.
The OLD ways are DEAD & you need people around you who concur.
That means hanging out more with the creative people, the freaks & REAL visionaries, than you're already doing.
Think more about what their needs are & respond accordingly.
Avoid the dullards;
avoid people who play it safe.
They can't help you anymore.
Their stability model no longer offers stability.
They're extinct, they're extinction.

Censorship of words in movies, books, tv shows and music is the scariest thing to me. Never should words be bleeped. There is just no need except for the government to prove to it'self they can do what they want.

It is very important. One can say any and everything in a civilized way. Although freedom is very important, a civilized society should have standards; one can say the same thing in a civilized way; mild censorship can ensure that.

To "protect the innocent children". Not that I agree. I think that job belongs to parents. Words are just words -- they're sounds. Freedom of speech is intended to protect the speech that is least popular, otherwise there would be no need for the first amendment.

freedom of speech does not mean freedom to libel a person , to pervert the youth , to promote hatred , that would be abusing the very values that liberty of speech upholds.

censorship is important to me because I have children and they don't need to be exposed to things at an age they can't mentally understand them. Its important for a family to make a decision as to what there children are exposed to as to give them the tools they need for the future

I agree! Censorship is just a way to control others and to try and make them believe what you believe...
