It already says in the terms of use that they "have the right to forward your personal info for advertising purposes" and when you deactivate your account, you can get it back at any time suggesting that your info is never deleted! I like to use it to talk to my friends and stuff, but this makes me really mad!

I don't know if the administratos snoop around profiles, but other people sure do. Prospective employers, parents, even school administrators have been known to search through them for incriminative info, posts, or photos. At my university, a few people have been kicked out of school housing due to pictures of them with alcohol in their rooms (which is not allowed at my school) being on facebook.
Big Brother is always watching.

No. They don't snoop. They take note of age range, gender etcetera so that advertisers know for sure that they target audience will see their advertisement.
If you're worried about school admin looking at your profile, make it friends only. Durr.
