Let's see... hm-mm...
IIRC the invisible man wore an overcoat and hat with a bandage rolled over his face. He would the unroll the bandage and remove the coat when he wanted to hide. I think I would wear a black stocking over my head and the roll a bandage around leaving some spaces so it would look like nothing was there (underneath) leave the eyes open so you see and the mouth of course. Put on a hat, overcoat and black gloves. In the dark, your hands and the spaces between the bandages would be "invisible" throw on an old overcoat, black shirt and pants. I think you could pass yourself off as the invisible man that way.
If you're serious of course. If not then I'm just whooshed again.

If this is for a Halloween party, just don't show up. If they ask why you didn't go just answer, "I was there. I was the invisible man!"

Go to Walmart,and buy a 6 foot floor mirror,then look in it from head to toe,and see if your invisible.

Use a blue screen, a TV camera, and the correct filters. That's about the only way.
