WELLLLL.....
The Sun is mostly hydrogen gas. We know from history
that the huge blimp "Hindenburg" was full of hydrogen
gas and blew up when some spark ignited all that gas.
So, if you are really serious about destroying the Sun,
what you could do is light a match and throw it at the
Sun and try to ignite all that hydrogen gas. Then it would
explode like a giant ball of fire. You should plan on using
some pretty high tech matches. Checking my reference books that I have here, that match should be able to keep
burning for 93,000,000 miles under less than optimum
conditions. This might take a bit of developmental research
on your part to achieve...

you go give yourself a huge wedgie for even thinking about doing this. in about 5 billion years the sun will destroy us, but theres nothing we can do about it so i would try to make sure you see everything you want to in that amount of time.

Bizarre notion. You needn't worry about playing God. It is prophesied in the Bible that the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon into blood or shall not give her light when the Lord returns to earth. 1,2)
