I have alot of friends from Mexico and they are often trash talking other groups/races(Especially blacks,particually black men)One time i went to lunch with my Indonesion friends & the large group of mexican men sitting next to us were talking smack(Gringa con pinches chinos morenos,tonta,chinos feos,ect)A few said to me said they did not like people from India cause there skin is too brown.Most mexican are simalar color to people from India.A few others said they don't like Camdodians cause they are not light like Chinese people. A few have been racist to me.Why are SOME of them acting like this,No insults please.

I don't think you can go anywhere in the world without encountering some racial bias. Mexicans are no exception.
Just don't join in when they engage in putting other races down. Try to lead by example.

Mexico has not wrestled with the issue of racism the way the US has, and consequently hasn't developed our complex etiquette regarding it. Often a Mexican makes a remark not intended to be hostile, but which is rude by the standards of US manners. Remember when Pres. Vicente Fox made the remark about Mexican immigrants doing jobs "even the blacks won't do." I am pretty sure he had no clue this could be construed as offensive, or he wouldn't have said it.
Then too, there are ignorant and prejudiced people almost everywhere, I suppose.

First of all, I am Mexican and I am not like this! are you sure it's only Mexicans that act or behave this way?? maybe your story is true, but are all Mexicans to blame because of these few you met that were being ignorant?? maybe they had never seen how people from other countries looked and they were just narrow-minded about it! If it was really like you are describing it, it was wrong. But unfortunetly, it's just like with any other race or nationality, there's good people just as there is bad. Or please let me know of one that is the exception!!

Its not just some mexicans that feel that way, there are a lot of other fair skinned races that dont like dark colored people, like some asians, some europeans, and bright skinned blacks. I dont know why but may be because of the stereotypes they see in the movies and on televison. I dated a latino girl and she told me that a lot of mexicans dont like blacks and other dark skinned people too, but I dont believe it is all of the mexican race just a few ignorant bunch.

Look I have 2 Mexican parents they r great funny people , I don't think we r races at least not all of us 2 tell u the truth I believe we all have made at least one racist comment in r life's even if u admit it or not u probably have 2!!! Mexicans don't hate we just have a funny way of expressing ourselves .
I think . ur just hanging out with the wrong group.. Get away from it if u dont like it.

Well, they are individuals. Please don't assume that all of them are bad. I know some people of other ethnicity that are very nice. Also keep in mind that many Caucasian people talk smack, and some practice racism. The best thing to do is not make friends with people who act like that or people who make you feel uncomfortable. Try to ignore those kinds of people.

Because they have a chip on their shoulders & feel insecure. Same reason that tatooed weightlifters like to pick on gays. They're gay themselves, but can't come to terms with it.

Im a white mexican that lives in Canada. I dunno but whenever i visit family in Mexico ill tell u one thing important. Everyone or almost everyone living in Meixico was born and their generations born in Meixco. Theyre all Mexicans in Mexico. In U.S.A. and Canada almost everybody are from different places around the world. They are not used to peeps from other cultures, therfore sometimes theyre curious about them. or make fun of people from different races, cultures, etc.... I think. Plz rate as best answer
