Do slugs eat each other?

I just saw what looked disturbingly like one giant slug consuming a smaller one! Eeeeeee!
Is this right?

I know that they eat each other's slime while mating and that seems more likely what you saw happening.

Slugs are actually voracious predators and are omnivores. So yes it is quite likely you did see one slug eating another.

I dont think so.... I believe slugs tend to be vegetarian...maybe you saw procreation:))
