In general, and in theory, yes.
(Some of it is not only questionable, I think it should be deemed criminal!)
No, not stem cell research! I think that's going to solve a great deal of today's misery.) And, I expect it to begin to show real results shortly after we get rid of that moron currently in our White House!
I think progress for the sake of progress is wrong.
I think without scientific research, we would all still be subject to the horrifying illnesses of the the dark ages.
I think the moron who thinks destroying every last iota of smallpox because "it's wrong to eradicate"...blah-blah-blah IS! a moron! An entire species of killer SHOULD be wiped. (Wild animal predators are NOT! the same...)
I think if we continue to use anti-bacterial EVERYthing, we are going to introduce a species that will scare our socks off!
I think animal research is beyond any word I can think of right now to describe how awful I think it is.
Aren't you glad you asked?
When you publish, will you let us know? I'm going to be veeery
interested to see this. }:>

Of course I support scientific research. However, I feel that researchers should be held accountable for their methods. It would be easy for a researcher to feel that the ends justify the means.

Absolutely. If Humankind is ever going to Progress & solve many of the challenges facing it- Scientific Research is going to have to be at the FOREFRONT of that process. NOT to do so- would condemn us ALL to repeating the SAME mistakes we've made in the Past...

yes I thing scientific research is good the things that have been found has helped a lot of people but so much more need to be done instead of giving money for new buildings and unnessersary stuff they need to give money for research that's going to save lieves we still need a cure for cancer, AIDS, Herpies and much more I can go on and on I also thing cloneing organs is a good ideal for the poor patients waiting for organs so many of them die before one becomes availible SPEND MONEY ON SOMETHING THAT MATTERS

Not with a wide open statement I don't. Even the Nazis were doing scientific research that could be deemed beneficial.

being a nurse I understand it...don't always agree but I recognize its importance. We wouldn't have all the medicines and equipment to deal with the illness that we have without it.
