holiday next year in august. wish to be central

Merseyside has a good train network. You don't need to be central. There is plenty of accomodation in Southport if you can't find anywhere else.

You could try the University. Student flats are often rented out over summer.

you can get a nce B & B in a good hotel chain from £50-60 per night, there is alot of scummy flats so be careful. Look for Accommodation Liverpool central, there is quite a few good ones on the dock road. by the albert dock

I know its not your question - but thought I would say..... make sure you are there for the august bank holiday!! There is the Matthew Street Festival on - its a good weekend!! (I always stay in travel lodges).
