There are a number of things that you can do.I would be concerned as to the CAUSE of this if I were you. It will not cost very much to try a few home remedies. The use of a douche made of warm salty water may help. You might also try that same douche with some vinegar added to it.About a tablespoon of vinegar, and a half teaspoon of salt in the warm water should do it. Use this about 2 times or maybe 3 times each day and it should get better very quickly. Sometimes the "PH" or the balance between acid and alkaline gets off center inside the vaginal cavity. You may need to change that PH in either direction, more ACID or more ALKALINE. Please do not use those COURSE and STRONG chemical based store bought douches. They COULD make it WORSE. Another simple thing may be that you can ingest some chlorophyll pills. This should not require a prescription. Ask the druggist if he or she can tell you what the best DOSAGE is. SWALLOW them,,,do not insert them vaginally.Chlorophyll will kill the odor in ANYTHING. As a kid I used it to keep the boy dogs away from my pet female dog when she was in heat. Feel free to email me with any questions you may need more help with. This is NOT A JOKE answer!!!!! I am seriously attempting to help you. Do not be embarrassed,,,OTHER girls have the exact same problem sometimes,,,,but they just don't TELL you about it. First and most important....DO NOT MAKE IT ANY WORSE!!!!!!

Typically, yeast infections don't have much of an odor. Bacterial infections, however, tend to have an intensely bad odor, and you will have to have antibiotics to get rid of that, which means you will have to see the doctor. It's no big deal to them, I promise. I work in a doctor's office and we see it all the time. To prevent this type of thing from happening again after you do get treated, and if they tell you it is bacterial, some good tips are: Don't douche too often--maybe once a month after your period at most. This strips the good bacteria away that fight off the bad bacteria and causes overgrowth. Don't use strongly-fragranced soaps, as this can do the same thing. Don't take too many baths, showers are better. Good luck and again: Go to the doctor!

As embarrassing as it is, it would have been much easier on you if you had told someone months ago when whatever it is had only recently died. The smell is only going to get worse and your boyfriend might start asking questions like "why does it feel like my member is poking a rotten carcass?" That's more embarrassing than a visit to the doctor any day.

Some STD's smell really bad like that - I remember that from health class in high school - the woman said that sometimes you could smell them walking into the room - if its been going on for a while I would go to the doctor--
good luck

You may have a vaginal infection or yeast infection. You could try Vagisil or Monistat, but you're better off seeing a doc. They have seen it all! So don't be embarrassed.
