Definitely ,i know someone this happened to in springtime when she was lambing sheep, she lost the rlng in long rushes, where it lay for 3wks until she got a loan of a detector and found it within minutes.

yes, but try to search the areas she was in first, before trying other areas. set the detector to Non-ferrus (not magnetic) Noble metals are non-ferrus
