It's terrible. What is with all these kids? I think one thing is that parents give their kids guns when they're young.

I have noticed a pattern with some of these kids who do these shootings.
A lot of them were expelled.
I think expelling a already disturbed and angry student does not solve the problem, if anything it escalates more isolation and anger.
When someone is coming to school sayin f'the world, everything sucks and is generally disgruntled and shares it with other students, I think school faculty and students need to take caution before they expell a student.
Also find out what is going on w/the parents and their relationship w/the kid.
If they do expell a student a very in depth pyschological exit interview w/the student and parents might help w/other options already in place instead of just staying home.
The obvious one: How in the hell does a 14 year old get a hold of a fire arm?!!!!
Gun control, gun control! Has been talked about for years, but I don't see much change in the lobbying and the laws for or against it.
We all know Michael Moore addressed this w/some passion, but it seems to be happening more and more.
I hear about a school going in lockdown here in the Northern CA area at least once a week. I'm in my 30's and this crap NEVER happened when I was in junior high or high school. Mabye knives, but no guns.

The bad guys prefer unarmed victims!!.
When seconds matter calling 911 and asking the bad guy to wait is not a viable option.
Better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!!!

Parents don't raise their kids.
They are too lazy and selfcentered to raise their own kids so they let video games cellphones and ipods raise their kids for them.
And people wonder why there are more school shootings.
You think it's bad now?
Wait another 20 30 years until the last of us old school raised with morals people start dying off.
People will be cutting each other heads off on streetcorners for looking at each other the wrong way.
By the way You anti gun people think you are so smart. What are you going to do when some nutjob kicks your front door in? Use harsh language?

I want to hear what the NRA freaks have to say about it...They claim guns ending up in the wrong hands is not something to be concerned about.

The NRA would just say that all the students should be armed, then they could shoot back. That's what the deluded a**&$holes said after Virginia Tech.

god knows what makes them do it, its very sad . but with the gun culture they have in the US are you surprised but england is heading that way too.
