When Washington Redskins coach Joe Gibbs made the controversial decision last year to bench veteran quarterback Mark Brunell in favor of the youngster from Auburn, Jason Campbell, the results were mixed.
Campbell showed instants of offensive flair, throwing for at least one touchdown in each of his seven starts. However, he also threw six interceptions and struggled to complete a high percentage of his passes. More importantly, the Redskins lost five of those seven games, finishing the season at a woeful 5-11.
This year, the ‘Skins have leapt out to a 3-1 record and Campbell is a big reason why. Sunday against Detroit, he had his best game as a professional, completing 23 of 29 attempts for 248 yards and a pair of touchdowns with no interceptions. And he did it without receiver Santana Moss, who missed the game with a strained groin. Not to mention, Antwaan Randle El missed the second half with a strained hamstring.
"I felt like Jason, it was his best game for us to this point," said Gibbs after his team’s 34-3 blowout of the Lions. "It was great to see him step up. He was very consistent with his throws. The times when things weren't there, he did a great job of either moving out of the pocket or taking a checkdown."
Washington is a three-point underdog at Green Bay (4-1) this Sunday. Whether Campbell can continue to perform at a high level in a hostile environment will be worth watching.

The Redskins will win. The Packs showed the world who they really are against a good defense. Brett can not do it all and he wont be able to win this game. Washington wins by at least 7.

Well it sounds like you know way more about these teams than I do, you must be an ESPN buff. But I can tell you this
I'm definentaly going for Brett and the Packers! I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan though so you can see why I wouldn't go the Skins.

I don't know, Washington looks pretty tough this year and has a decent defense like always. Packers better be on their A game or it will be loss number 2.

Sorry, but if they couldn't beat a sorry Chicago team, they have no chance against Washington, the lack of a running game finally caught up with them, and Brett looked his age against the Bears

They will now, after losing to Chicago this past Sunday. If they had won,I would have bet on Washington to beat them coming up this week. They will bring out all their frustration from last Sunday against the Redskins and stomp them.
BTW,Detroit is off this week. It is their bye week.

With Portis,Randle el AND Moss back this week, yes I believe the Pack will fall. Don't get me wrong it will be one hell of a fight. Thats why I am not betting on the spread, but I am wagering on my Skins for the win.
