I'm just wondering if any gurus out there know how to do this. I know how to make electronics, but I've never actually fitted a circuit board into a plastic container like an MP3 player or what have you. I know these things are done in factories, but how might a hobbiest go about buying and fashioning such plastics...i.e. what kind of tools would I need etc. Any links you know of would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Commercial stuff is molded.
Making the case is fairly impractical. The dummies used to test designs are solid and often carved from plaster.
Buying a case empty that will hold the electronics is possible if you accept bulky shapes. Electronic supply catalogs include a number of shapes.
