It's because of porn. The "actors" in porn are either freaks with enormous penises or (more often) are digitally enhanced to look huge. Guys look at this crap, and then they look down and see a normal penis and think they are too small! It's sad that so much time and energy is wasted this way.

Because American men are socialized from the time that they are pre-teens that a larger penis equals more manliness. In addition, we hear that women want guys are are well endowed. Since a guy never knows if the women he might sleep with will consider him well endowed, he wants to make sure he is large so that he is assured of her desire. Of course, every woman has a different idea of what it means for a guy to be well hung, so many guys are always wondering, comparing, asking questions, etc.

Because American culture focuses in on the fact that things that are bigger, are better. Same thing with women getting implants, to look bigger. Some perfer the small natural look, same way with women and their perference about their male's size.

it juss a cultural thing. people say bigger is better. thats like women and their breasts and butts. its juss the way people think. but not all americans think the same way, some dont care about the size. i dont care about the size, it doesnt matter to me.

I think that people are just self-conscious and wants to be the best, although there are many things to prove their self worth, they still think that penis size is everything that matters
