Okay I have this teacher who is a cocky idiot. He regularly picks on me and today's bully time was when I couldn't explain what I was doing and he said "It's people like you who start world wars, you can't communicate properly!", hello I have a job in customer services and have plenty of friends. Next I was nervous because I had to leave the room early, he let me but then he started imitating my nervous twitch and mentioned it to the whole class, thank god none of them laughed, they've got my back. Next there was an Asian girl in the class who complained that it was hot and the teacher said" How the hell do you manage in Pakistan?" or something similar, that was racist right? What should I do? My friends say I should file a law suite!

You dont say if this is high school or college but what I would do is organize with some other students in the class who have been ridiculed and insulted by this idiot and go to the principal (for high school) or the Dean (if it is college). Also be aware this teacher controls what grade you will get so make sure whoever you file a complaint with knows all the possible problems a complaint can bring. Make sure you save all work done in that class so you can prove what kind of grade you deserve if he tries to flunk you.

i agree with ur friends ( if a high school student or something along those lines) i would actually talk to the principal too. get him fired. i'm surprised u havent cussed him out. thats what i would do, once i reach boiling point. u can also confront him about it, tell him that he's racist and that ure going to take him to court, because no student (college, H.S or w/e) should have to go throught that. and he's getting in the way of your education, and u can sue for that. so go ahead and an file. that way not only do u pass his class, but u also get him fired, and maybe some money for pain and suffering. u got it made.

Yes, he is a bully and he is targetting your strength. He is looking for the one person who will stand up to him and you, unfortunately have been singled out.

Yes, you should report him to his superiors and make a formal complaint. Don't stoop to his level because he is spoiling for a fight.

Just keep a diary of the incidents because he is definitely a bully.

When I was in school, my father was abusing me and my sister and when I went to school, the maths teacher read out a note I had passed to my friend telling her why I was late when her mom came to pick me up.
The maths teacher grabbed the note and read it to the class and not only that, he read it in a whiny voice making fun of me and to this day, 41 years later, I can still see his face and I still hear his voice.

Don't let this guy do that to you. Keep a diary and build a case. It is so wrong what some think they can get away with.
It's hard to believe in this day and age, teachers aren't trained better.

I would report him, keep records of every incident including what was said with the date and time and place and any potential witnesses, report it to your parents, and once you have enough documentation, ask him why he does that to you, but have a tape recorder handy. Yes, tape him! It can't be used in court, but if he tries to turn the tables on you, you CAN use it for your defense and get any negative grade reversed.

Hard to believe people still act this way.

Speak to the teacher with the class regarding his behavior, if you don't wish to speak write a letter have everyone sign it make a copy for your records and give it to him. Next is the chair of the department then the dean.

I don't know about a law suit but you should speak to the principle there and perhaps even the school board about this teacher. someone like that should not be teaching.

WOW! thats just down right immature and ridiculous. First tell your dean ,principle and school board. See what they have to say first. he is obviously demented and rude. HE needs his teaching license revoked. I am sorry you have tp put up with somebody who is suppose to be teaching and protecting you from students who ma be bullying you. Like i said tell the dean, principle and school board see what they say. best wishes and good luck
