I did that to my cousin before, but to tell you the truth, Santa DID exist. His body is buried in Italy somewhere; he was the saint of children, theives and pawn brokers.

No they are not wron, I raised 2 daughtes, Now age 38 & 37, My 1sy wife taught them about Santa Claus As I did some too, but not as much. Today with my chirldren all those years being taught santa claus, They out grown that, & to this day, They still know there is a ONE TRUE GOID, you see, you have to use wisdom in talking to them, My parents even taught me about santa clause, Now I am 57 yrs. Old, & still enjoy the times of Christimas. Now to ask you a question, do you atheists teach your childen that there is no Christmas Let alone if there is any God, Don't come up with this carbage that you let them lead their own life, There was a time you taught them something, or did you not have the intelligence to tell them anything, which your intelligence don't go very far.

I don't consider telling little kids that their is a Santa Claus a lie, because imo, it's carrying on a tradition that started many years ago. Therefore why should I spoil a tradition that I too enjoyed as a little kid?

I like to walk by the place in the mall where the kids are getting their pictures taken with Santa and remark loudly to a friend about the non existance of Santa Clause....you should see the tears!

Yes, but it was worse when I had to tell an 8 year old in the family that there was no Santa. For about a year after that he was on a personal mission to enlighten all children about the truth.

My kids always knew from day one, that there was no Santa and that mommy and daddy are buying them the presents, I wasn't about to have some fake old white beard man get all the credit for what I'm buying the kids. : )
