I wanted to make an apology but John never showed up.

I wasnt trying to make and excuse, but my mother didnt believe me.

I went to work to appraise this house but no one was home.

I wanted revenge on the girl that broke my cell phone.

He was full of vengeance after he found out his dog was killed.

1. APOLOGY : I tried to offer the girl an apology for what I had done but she just wouldn't accept it.

2. EXCUSE: I had to miss school last week but I had a Doctor's excuse so the teacher accepted it.

3. APPRAISE: After my Car accident the insurance adjuster had to appraise the damages.

4. APPRISE: As the jury seated the officer apprised the exused of his rights.

5. AS: As a member of the 4-H club it was my duty to make sure everyone was on their best behaivor.

6. LIKE: Like most kids my age I wasnt my license now!

7. ASCENT: The climbers began their ascent of the mountain

8. ASSENT: The teacher seeed to assent with my opinion of the assignment.

10. ESSAY: The essay that I had written for class was given an A plus.

11. AVENGE: The hero once again avenges the villian.

12. REVENGE: I claimed that I would have my revenge on the school bully who stole my lunch money.

13. VENGEANCE: It is wrong to seek vengeance on another person.

Appraise and apprise are similar.
If you use as or like, you are using a simile.
Assent and assay are similar, but mean diffrent things.
A essay is similar to a report.
Revenge is a noun.
Vengeance is a feeling, or a adjective.

A lady came to APPRAISE my mothers antique tea set.
I am as quiet AS a mouse.
I LIKE pony's,rainbow's and unicorns!
My english ESSAY is due tommorow.
REVENGE doesn't solve anything.
