Yes especially now that it has been legally determined by the courts that lying about your opponent is perfectly legal.
Unbelievable!

Actually it is typically the Democrats that launch the smear campaigns and are constantly launching attacks against Conservatives. Since the Liberals have the help of the mainstream media at their disposal to spread half truths and sometimes out and out lies, why are you worried about it? You have the benefit of the New York Times, the Washington Post etc, to spread anti American anti conservative rhetoric, I would think all Liberals would be tap dancing and celebrating rather than worrying about what smaller papers such as the Montana Times might say against the almighty large papers!

It is too early for me to start watching the Presidential Candidates very closely.
What I think is going to happen in this election is this.....
Opposition going to go way back and dig up statements made by candidates 10-20 years ago.
And...if their stand on issue had changed....
they will accuse them of "flip-flopping".
People can change their views on a lot of issues when presented with facts.
But other than IRAQ war what other issues are there besides Gay Marriage and Abortion?
My attitude towards gays has changed over the years.
My attitude to a number of things have changed over the years.
My attitude towards illegals has changed over the past couple of years.
I used to sympathize with illegals...but those May Day demonstrations turned me around.
you gonna hear a lot of "FLIP FLOPPER!"
in this presidential campaign.
AND
a whole lot of spin.
and backpedaling.

The Republicans will load up on vicious attack ads. They'll have plenty of "scare the %#$@ out of America" ads as well.
As usual, the Democrat will just sit back and take it as the knuckledraggers accept the lies as gospel.

You Neo {psuedo} intellectual libs just don't get it. The guys in your unit know you the best of anybody. Kerry was a fake, a commie war protester, and you should be ashamed to denigrate men who risked their lives in defense of the country. If WE criticise another vet, we EARNED it. YOU DIDN'T...so shut your pie holes, you're contributing to global warming.

I have popped my popcorn, opened a beer, and put together a Dagwood Sandwich. I am going to sit right here in between both extreme parties (Left and Right) and watch them both lie, exaggerate, and snivel about each other. I truly wish there were a third candidate who really saw the whole picture of this country and not just what their kaleidoscope showed them.

We can only assume that you are a real "Swift Boat Veteran" and are going to enlighten us about how all the others lied. I believe you were mentioned in their book as the only member of that group who supported Kerry. OK, let's hear it.

Only the Left refer to the truth and facts as attacks and lies as they rewrite the facts to fit their needs. Can not win on ideas so they attack the truth as lies and rewrite the truth as fact.

What we aren't ready for is ballot tampering. If it was over-looked in 2000 with all the protesters, major reform needs to be administered here or else why vote even.
btw-did anyone else hear of the 'black-list' of thousands of black felons so they would be eliminated from voting - one of the guys interviewed was in our military for 4 yrs and had NO record but was on the 'black'-list - it would seem all of us should be concerned with this kind of blatant abuse of power(2000 election)

I hope Americans are ready to hear The Democratic Party (entirely owned and operated by Move-on.org) create more lies, blow things out of proportion and take more things out of context.
