After serious consideration I believe this country needs Barack Obama as President and Ron Paul as Vice President. I think they can really put our country in the right direction and fix the problems we've been having over the years.

Interesting ticket. Will have to give it more thought. It would definitely turn the establishment on its ear but the MOST important thing about it would be that it would highlight a need for change in the "conventional" thinking that has led this country in the wrong direction for most of its inhabitants and would signal what we so desperately need a coming together as a nation. No more of this red state/blue state crap which has done nothing to move us forward, just put us back.

Paul, I love.. Barack absolutely not... Obama voted in favor of the Patriot Act, he couldn't promise to withdraw troops even after 2013 (which is six years from now) He also suggested the possibility of going to war with Iran and Pakistan which conflicts with his policy of diplomacy.. not to mention have you read what he wants to do with social security? And don't forget Barack is backed by corporations, interest groups and lobbyists... He is part of the "Washington Establishment" He can talk a good talk, but when it comes down to it he won't be able to deliver.. Paul means and votes on the things he states, Obama doesn't, he lacks total substance

I think it would be better if Paul were the president and Obama were the vice, as I think Paul is more experienced and knowledgeable in most if not all areas of politics. Paul knows the constitution like no other politician I have ever heard speak.

In the early days of this country, the Vice-President was the candidate who came in second in the election. So they were inevitably of different parties or at least different ideologies. Interesting, you know; should be studied as to whether it encouraged or discouraged assassination attempts. After all, Bush has an excellent insurance policy in Cheney. If you have a strong stomach, try to imagine President Cheney **shudder**

That's an interesting ticket. Paul/Kucinich 2008 is better, in my opinion, in terms of having more common stances.

Wow, 2 polarizing viewpoints on the same ticket. Might would be interesting, but won't happen.

I think that's a really cool idea. They're my 2 favorites right now anyway. Talk about bi-partisan! Somehow I doubt anyone would go for it, though.

The only ticket I'd give would be a bus ticket home.
