I wish I was. Right now I am going through some stuff. I am in counseling and my counselor feels that I suffer from a social phobia and anxiety. A combination of things makes it very difficult for me to be around people. And I am out there looking for a job right now! It is kind of my worst nightmare. Anyway, I am working on it and hoping that soon, very soon I can be. My boyfriend is very outgoing. He loves everyone and they love him. Trying to learn off of him!

No, I'm not, because I've been hurt by too many people, pushed away by people I don't even know, been an outcast for too long. That's why I spend most of my time playing video games and on the internet. I don't want to be hurt anymore. I'm sick of it. Even my so called 'friends' have hurt me too much. The most social thing I do is firefighting. I personally hate most people. It's so rare to come across a person who's not shallow and stupid. I'm sick of all the expectations people have for me. I'm sick of people judging me for what I wear and how I look. I don't want anyone's approval, nor do I need it. People are too quick to make assumptions, and when presented with the truth, they tend not to care. So no, I'm not a people person.

Most definitely, I have had great jobs that have put me in the center of people, I was a blackjack dealer at a casino on an indian reservation, 15 miles from my home town and I also dealt cards at military bases in California in the military clubs, talk about wild and fun, great people everywhere, I have met so many different people, in every race you can imagine, it's an experience I will never forget, even now as a certified nurses assistant, I still get to meet all kinds of different people, on a different level of course, but great people all the same.

I thought I was, but then after working in retail for a short while, I realized that I only am a people person when I'm around other people persons.

I would say I am with time. I adapt to situations well. I also try to understand where a person is coming from no matter how different it may be from myself. Also when meeting new people the first thing I do while talking with them is look for things in commong I think this makes me a peoples person.

Absolutely! I love people. I really have to be a people person in the work I am in or I am in a lot of trouble! I counsel and pray with people all the time. God has really blessed me with the ability to share and exchange ideas with every walk of life, and I treat them as if they are my best friends because of the love I feel for every human being on earth.

Everybody I come across tells me that I am brilliant with people - especially in a work setting. However, I have only one true friend , who I only see once every 4 to 6 weeks. I long for my husband and children to be out as I love to be alone, and I will only ring or speak to my other family in order to keep up contact because that's what families do.
I would love to live in a setting where I could only see people if absolutely necessary. I truly believe I do not need people and they don't need me.

I am a "some" people person. While I believe that everyone is equally precious in terms of their right to live in dignity and be treated with respect, I don't believe in everyone being "special". Some of us are players on the stage, others are spectators. I like to be around people who interest me and help me grow. They would describe me as a people person.
Others, who are not interesting to me I treat with courtesy and respect but a level or reserve. To them, I'm not a people person.

Without a doubt, Yes! Love 'em...they come in all shapes and sizes, all manner of mindsets and some are as funny as a 600 lb woman in a bikini doing a back-flip on the high board! People, the craziest, most lovable, detestable, ergonomically incorrect beings in the world!
