You've said it! The scariest movie to watch on Halloween is 'Halloween'! It's a great film, and like you I'm not a fan of gore.
If you want something else how about Salem's Lot? A truly great and scary film.

So far Halloween is a scary movie without the gore. You could try The Sixth Sense as well or Stephen King's It. Take my word for it, the majority of all horror flicks have blood or some kind of gore in it.

Halloween, with mickel myers is the only decent none-gory movie. Alot of the scary movies just have a pop out and scare you affect. Some movies have a freaky feeling. The first three Hannibal lector movies aren't TOO gore, but yeah, a guy gets his face eaten off in the first...

Well, i haven't watched it, but I think it would be that Halloween movie. It's real. (or so they say) and it doesn't have that "Gore" stuff in it. I think it sounds like a really great movie and I hope I see it one day. I hope you see it too.

Perhaps not the scariest film to watch, but the Shining is so creepy--it's a classic, as you know.
