That would have been a good time to ask him if he even remembers who his vice president was.

Jimmie Carter should be remembered for the Camp David agreement, agreed upon by Israel and Egypt. Since then, Egypt and Israel have shared a peaceful co existence.
I do believe he would have been a great secretary of State.
However,as president, he completely lacked leadership and his term will be best remembered by the Iranian Hostage situation. Ronald Reagan pledged he would not use this as a campaign issue. he didn't have to.
It has long been tradition that a previous president would not criticise a current president. look how Pres Clinton and Bush (1) worked together for Tsunami relief.
Jimmie Carter should not critize Cheney or Bush or anyone else. Other than Camp David agreement, his presidency was a complete disaster.

I accept as true with Michael. In some tactics Carter gained't were a efficient President, yet he's a in truth good guy. i trust that vice chairman Cheney is a heartless liar and an ethical disaster. of route, many vow that "would makes top." I carry that decency counts and that the ends do not justify the skill. some in call for and nicely respected adult adult males have taught this. of route no individual with any effortless experience follows those beliefs anymore.

Sour grapes. It's the pot calling the kettle black. I have no idea why the press even talks to him...
