20 hours and it was all over. I have bought two more games today. Evil twin and Dragon Quest, Journey of the cursed king. Its really difficult to get Final Fantasy type games when you are in withdrawral. Just hanging for FF13 now. Does anyone know of any other FFtype games, to keep me satisfied for a while. I have done all Suikoden, summoners, starocean, baldurs gate, jack n daxter, ty tasmanian tiger etc etc.

I also hated DoC. A shame, because Vincent is such a cool character, and DoC had the potential of being a truly great game.

I see you purchased Dragon Quest 8. This game is awesome, it's my 2nd favorite RPG. If you like the art style of DQ8 give Dark Cloud 2 (it's called Dark Chronicle outside of the US) a try. It's an action RPG, not turn-based like FF or DQ, but it is a lot of fun. Here is an IGN review if you'd like to check it out (they gave it a 9/10, I'd rank it higher).

Try playing old Final Fantasies, I specially recommend FF6, it's AWESOME. Also, try FF Crystal Chronicles for the Game Cube, it's one of my favourite games.

If you haven't already, try the 8-bit FF games.

Failing that, I like some older games like Jade Cocoon (a bit like Pokemon, easy story, but dead addictive), and Broken Sword or Discworld are good classic games too.
